Verified case summary

Tom Heckley, twenty-five, from Woodhall Spa, received a custodial sentence after admitting fifteen non-recent sexual and image offences.

Lincolnshire Police said the offences against a teenage girl happened in twenty twenty-one and were reported two years later.

When detectives seized and examined Heckley's phone, they found illegal images and chat logs involving other teenage girls who were under sixteen at the time.

That evidence allowed officers to identify and safeguard additional victims.

His convictions included seven counts of sexual activity with a child involving penetration, sexual communication with a child, attempting to cause a child to watch a sexual act and six image-possession offences.

Lincoln Crown Court sentenced him to seven years and two months.

The court also imposed an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order, an indefinite restraining order and sex-offender registration requirements.
