Verified case summary

Obinwa Obichukwu, forty-five, from Hertfordshire, was jailed for two years after a jury found him guilty of two sexual assaults at Euston station.

The survivor’s report and CCTV evidence helped British Transport Police trace him to his home.

The court heard he approached her outside the station in August twenty twenty-three, then prevented her from entering and assaulted her.

He denied the allegation, but the jury convicted him in January.

At Inner London Crown Court in July, he was jailed for two years.

The judge also imposed a ten-year sexual-harm prevention order and ten years on the offender register.
