Dean Dowson, thirty-seven, from the Teesside area, received a twenty-year extended sentence after being convicted of seven serious offences.
Cleveland Police said the case involved a sustained pattern of physical, sexual and psychological abuse against one woman.
The proven offending included rape, serious sexual assault, physical assaults, stalking, and coercive and controlling behaviour.
Police said Dowson monitored the woman's movements using cameras, checked her social media and later stalked and harassed her until officers arrested him outside her home.
He denied responsibility, but a jury convicted him at the end of May twenty twenty-six.
Teesside Crown Court imposed fifteen years in prison plus five years on extended licence.
Dowson also received a lifetime restraining order, a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and registration requirements.
