A drug haul worth more than seventeen thousand pounds led to a three-yeareight-month prison sentence in Bristol.

Casey Collins, twenty-three, from Knowle, pleaded guilty to Class A drug-supply offences and criminal property charges.

Avon and Somerset Police said officers first pursued Collins in February, when he discarded a phone.

Further enquiries linked him to a drug line.

When officers arrested him at home in April, they recovered crack cocaine, heroin, cash and air-powered weapons.

Collins admitted the charges at Bristol Crown Court.

On the sixteenth of June, he was jailed for three years and eight months.

Police said the investigation disrupted a local drugs operation and will now consider recovering criminal assets.
